This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use the LexiBoost mobile application (“the App”). We will only use the information that we collect about you in accordance with the applicable privacy laws including but not limited to the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), California Online Privacy Protection Act (“CalOPPA”), California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), and Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). We reserve the right to update and modify this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, YOU ARE ADVISED NOT TO CONTINUE USING THE APP ANY LONGER.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

a. Personal information you provide

Summary: We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering, using our services, or contacting us.

• Name and Surname: Required for account registration and personalization.
• Email Address: Used for account login, verification, and communication.
• Age: Required to verify compliance with our minimum age requirement (13+).
• Password: Collected for account security. Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text.
• User Progress: We collect data about your learning progress, achievements, and activities within the App.
• Google Sign-In Data: If you choose to log in with Google, we may receive your basic profile information (such as name, email, profile picture) as permitted by your Google account settings.

b. Information automatically collected

We automatically collect device and usage information when you use our App, such as IP address, device type, operating system, language preferences, and activity logs. We may also use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and functionality improvements.

2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate and manage user accounts.
• Provide, personalize, and improve our services.
• Track and sync user progress across devices.
• Send administrative emails (such as password resets, updates, and account-related notifications).
• Ensure compliance with age restrictions and legal requirements.

3. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only with trusted third parties who provide services on our behalf:

• Google Sign-In: For account authentication when you choose to log in via Google.

4. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately. Users under 18 may only use the App with parental or guardian consent.

5. ACCOUNT DELETION

You may delete your account at any time:

• Directly within the App settings, or
• Through this external link: Delete Account

When you delete your account, all associated personal data (name, surname, email, age, password, and progress) will be permanently removed from our servers, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request corrections or updates to your personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Export your personal data for portability.
